From the foreland of the Grouin, one can see the Anglo-Saxon islands as well as Mont Saint Michel and Cap Fréhel. In the north of the foreland, in direction of Saint Malo, on the Islands of the moors, there is an ornithological reserve. In the west, one discovers a succession of shores and forelands of the department.

 

At the Jeanne Jugan ((friend of Brittany's poor) Residence, nuns care for 86 needy elderly residents, part of a worldwide network of Little Sisters of the Poor homes.

 

Saint meen church located at the borough is worth visiting. On the place of the church there is a sculpture which is an homage to the oyster washerwomen of Cancale. Also to discover the superb panorama of the city and of the bay top the church tower. (189 steps table of orientation with a unique panorama).

The quays of Cancale are bordered of many famous tables and are referred in the large gastronomical guides where it is good to taste a plate of sea food or a wafer of Sarasin, contemplating the splendid sight on the bay of Saint Michel Mont.
